LUCIA LORENA MARTIN RUBALCAVA

Lucía (b. 2001) is a photographic artist working across analog processes, printmaking, and experimental image-making. Her practice explores the relationship between memory, place, and material, drawing inspiration from culture, natural landscapes, and human connection.

Moving between photography and print-based experimentation, her work prioritizes slowness, physicality, and intention. She uses process to deepen meaning, creating images that are felt as much as they are seen.

Informed by her heritage from Mexico and the Canary Islands, Lucía’s work moves between cultures and between the personal and the universal, capturing a sense of authenticity, emotion, and place.

Alongside her studio practice, she has experience in collaborative and client-based work, bringing a thoughtful approach to concept development, production, and visual storytelling.
